Though each one looks very different from the other, Terraria and Dungeon Defenders 2 will be crossing paths before the year's end.
November 11, while not the launch date for the mix-up, will play host to a live stream showing off some of the new additions to both games through the upcoming collaboration.
Players of Terraria new and old will experience an invasion much like what Dungeon Defenders players have to fend off on a wave-by-wave basis whenever they jump into a match, while those playing Trendy Entertainment's tower defense RPG will gain access to new maps, enemies, gear and the Dryad hero class - for a cost, at least.
While the event will come free of charge to players of each game, the Dryad added into Dungeon Defenders 2 will set back players not looking to unlock it through mere gameplay. But just pressing on with the event happenings will eventually earn you the newcomer regardless of the state of your wallet.
There's a couple of screenshots and a video to get the point across. We'll likely have to wait until the November 11 live stream to learn when the invasion will spill out.
