Through a website consisting of nothing but concept art and small factual text boxes, Iron Harvest, a RTS title by KING Art Games has been silently announced for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
With no footage to go off other than a short gif-style image in their landing page, all of our information for the alternate history strategy title comes from the short paragraphs posted with each image.
Set in a retelling of 1920, shortly after the end of the Great War, it tells of a world unhappy with the outcome of the 4 year fued. Farmers have begun digging up unused weaponry, fortifications and shrapnel in their fields - calling it the Iron Harvest. Brick walls offer your troops cover in specific light-fire situations, but will do little to protect against the high-caliber shells of a mech-mounted cannon.
Through the campaign between the Saxony Empire, Polania Republic and Rusviet, secret forces are looking to destabilize Europe and claim it from the ashes of its own destruction. Set through a myriad of open sandbox-style levels, dynamic destruction and cover mechanics all play a heavy role in getting your troops to their mission objective.
With no release date in mind, it isn't clear when we should expect to see any solid footage of the title in action. The reveal site would have us believe the title in still in the conceptual phase, but the team assure they're "looking forward to show[ing] you more of our game". All we can do is wait.
