With the HTC Vive having been in consumer homes for a few months now - and Oculus' motion controllers on the horizon - developers are starting to release their most atmospheric efforts to meet the Halloween demand.
Though many would expect a slew of horror titles looking to gain traction through Youtube and Twitch in the month where everyone is looking for a quick jumpscare, Alice VR is aiming less for eerie and more for the feeling of sheer scale and wonder most people experience when reading Lewis Carroll's classic literature.
Billed as a 'curious sci-fi tale of exploration and discovery', every copy of Alice VR contains a separate soundtrack, artbook and behind-the-scenes footage on-top of the developer diary posted below.
As a heads up; don't go in expecting the colourful and vibrant land from the story book. Klabater is really emphasizing the sci-fi angle here.
Alice VR releases October 27 for Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and OSVR platforms. It should be stressed, however, that the title can also be played without an expensive VR headset covering your skull.
