Turn back the clock a few years and you may remember a title by the name of Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf. The long history of the Warhammer franchise has started to blur the lines with their strikingly similar naming conventions, but this is one you'll be hearing a lot more of in the future. It's coming to PC next year.
The strategy collectable card game will break its less-limiting mobile shackles and make due haste to the Steam Early Access program in February 2017.
Bringing reworked textures and materials will be the key selling point here, with dynamic lighting, improved weapon effects and weather being a further highlights. Of course, with the original game transitioning from a touch-heavy platform, we'll be seeing a completely redesigned user interface, too.
There's no shortage of Warhammer good for fans right now. Check out some more Space Hulk: Deathwing footage.
Once it make its way to Steam early next year, you'll instantly gain access to everything the mobile title had to offer with a few further balance tweaks too. The need for early access is essentially for players to try out the original title and suggest to the developers where they'd like to see the game go from hear on out.
So you're gaining a completed game while having a constant role in shaping its future too. Once it goes live, you'll be able to grab the game through Steam.
