After her long-winded reveal mirrored the debilitating effects of her own hacking skills, Sombra, Overwatch's next hero, will finally arrive next month.
Equipped with a short-range automatic machine pistol, Sombra sits into the Offense role in a slightly different way to her other allies thanks to her sneak attacks and disruptions.
While able to become completely invisible at the flick of a switch, her stealth will be broken whenever she performs any action or gets hit by an enemy. It seems as if the idea will be to find a safe spot, use her thrown translocator to teleport to its position and use her hack ability behind enemy lines to support her team's forward momentum in a firefight - she could certainly act as a fine distraction by dipping in and out of her Thermoptic Camo invisibility, too.
Though it seems she best at slipping behind enemy lines, her Ultimate discharges a wide-range EMP blast nullifying the abilities of enemies caught in its radius; while completely destroying any shields and barriers that may be getting in her team's way.
Sombra will appear on the current PTR next week. If you're patient, however, you only have another month to wait until you can help her reach the full-duplicate composition in every non-ranked match.
