The upcoming ‘Denmark 1.19 update for grand strategy Europa Universalis IV is set to feature several major user interface improvements as showcased by Paradox Interactive in the latest developer diary.
Changes are coming to multiple aspects of the UI with the intention of adding more information to the player but also more options as players can now specify tabs to only appear in multiplayer. Another new option is the ability to disable the rule that you can not stack idea groups. It is now possible to go all military ideas in games.
One feature that has been added is an icon for army attrition be it land or naval. Players will now be able to clearly see if their army is taking attrition, which should be much more helpful to those players planning on long military conquests. Attrition for naval units will only show for fleets that are taking more than 5% attrition and have a ship with hull strength less than 50%.
Lastly, the religions tab has been updated to better show the status of missionary strength in the interface, so you can plan better for the future. Another important aspect is the addition of another column in list of provinces to convert, detailing of how much that particular province impacts the religious unity. They also added a skip song button which is useful I suppose?
