Just as the hints and leaks - or just more hints - suggested, the final Rainbow Six Siege DLC pack puts players into the shoes of the Japanese Special Assault Team.
The update introduces two new operators - Echo and Hibana - alongside the Skyscaper map seen in the gameplay leak a short time ago.
Potentially also demonstrated in the video leak were the changes being made to the realism of bullet impact damage across different weapon calibers. Higher and lower caliber bullets will soon affect the environment in a way that falls more in line with the kind of force you'd expect to see in real life.
With a Twitch demo planned for November 12-13, Ubisoft are keeping most of the details close to their chests for now. All we know is Hibana will wield a Type-89 and SuperNova (not that kind) as her primary weapons and switch out to either a PM9 or P229 as a secondary.
As for the map, "You are mobilized to neutralize an organized crime threat within a Yakuza-filled mansion high above the streets of Nagoya. There is a faction within the Higasiyama-gumi that rebels against their leader, which triggers terrible violence.” - or so says art director Gregory Fromenteau.
There isn't even a release date just yet, but that'll surely come during this weekend's Twitch stream.
