Humble Bundle is not only offering gamers pay-what-you-want video game bundles these days. Now, it has started publishing its own games to supplement its Humble Monthly subscription service called Humble Originals. The first game is Mighty Rabbit Studios’ Elephant in the Room.
For those who don’t know what Humble Monthly is, it’s a $12/month blind subscription service in which gamers get games for free, much like the videogame equivalent of Loot Crate. Humble will now start tucking in small, experimental games as a bonus.
”Elephant in the Room marks the beginning of Humble Originals – exclusive games developed specifically for Humble Monthly subscribers. We allow developers to explore their favorite ideas and turn them into games that are a little risky, a little experimental, and a lot of fun!” explains the company.
Elephant in the Room is a satirical game in the vein of Octodad and Goat Simulator, featuring what Mighty Rabbit calls ”tactical elephant action.” Basically, you play as the titular elephant, whose mission is to somehow stay hidden in a small house from the resident humans. Of course, the player is a bull in a china shop, so remaining out of sight is pretty difficult.
Those of you subscribing to Humble Monthly will find the game waiting for them as part of the February 2016 bundle.
