Vertigo Games has announced that Adam’s Venture Origins, a remake of the original Adam’s Venture Chronicles: The Search for the Lost Garden, will be launched on the 1st April, 2016.
The story takes place in 1928, ”when a routine excavation of a French church leads to the discovery of a strange scroll bearing Templar symbols. What follows is a race to uncover the location of the four rivers mentioned in the Book of Genesis – and unpick what this could mean.”
According to the studio, the franchise is being re-imagined as ”a fully formed non-violent, next-generation adventure game” where ”players will find themselves crossing the globe, visiting locations like Jerusalem, Oxford, and even Temple Mount.”.
Adam’s Venture Origins will be running on Unity 5, and Vertigo Games released a gameplay trailer to show off the new look of the title.
