It’s very, very hard to look at Konami as it is now and be optimistic or positive considering its business and PR decisions in much of 2015. nevertheless, a former Konami employee still believes that the company has what it takes to make good and asked players and fans to have patience.
Yuichi Haga was a former online content producer at Konami who had previously put in work with Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and the Suikoden series. He recently went on Twitter in a surprising show of defense for the company he left, answering to frustrated and angry comments made by other users about the current state of the Metal Gear Solid publisher. In the replies, Yuichi stressed that given enough time, he fully believed that Konami would produce good content that would win back the hearts of their fanbase.
@Cortelia_x I understand how you feel. I'm a Konami game fan myself. Try and hold out hope a little more.. If you can

In addition to defending Konami and sharing hope that the company would eventually right itself, Yuichi also shared passion and joy for the Suikoden series, the second and third games of which he had a part in pushing on the PSN in 2014 and 2015. Yuichi stressed that he would continue to try to use his influence to push awareness and priority for the Suikoden series at Konami.
Certainly between stressing a shift of priority to mobile games and the unfortunate dealings with Hideo Kojima, Konami certainly didn’t make a positive impression in 2015, but maybe Yuichi is right. Do you think Konami can redeem itself? Chime in below.
