Command and Conquer inspired RTS Reconquest has received a final release date and will launch on Steam on December 16th. the RTS here’s everything we know about the upcoming post-apocalyptic real-time strategy.
The game takes place after World War III, when mankind got close to extinction. The player has to reconquer Earth from the outlaws by making better strategic decisions than their opponents. The most valuable resource that still exists is radioactive shale gas, and its possession will determine the outcome of battles. Two major factions are vying for control, the urban forces and the outlaw clan.
The developers have confirmed that three game modes will be available upon launch:

A campaign mode where you can choose from the two sides: the urban forces and the outlaw clan. Both sides have 10 individual story missions where comics connect the storyline between the missions.

A skirmish mode where you can compete with 3 AIs at maximum on 8 different maps.

A trapped mode where you can choose between 8 challenges.
From looking at the screenshots and trailer, you get a very classic Command and Conquer vibe with a little of dune thrown in there for good measure. This little indie RTS game may be exactly what RTS fans are looking for if it can produce both the quality and quantity of gameplay that the player base needs.
