Gearbox and 2K Games have released Battleborns first DLC story operation, a new Competitive Multiplayer Mode, special Halloween Spooky Skins and a host of balance changes. The new story operation will place players with Attikus as he relives the third Thrall uprising that sparked a revolution within the Jennerit Empire.
The new story content will have players fighting their way through the streets and rooftops of the Tempest slums in Attikus and the Thrall Rebellion. As always players can complete the mission solo or join to together to overcome the tough challenges. All five of the upcoming Story Operations are included in the Season Pass and Digital Deluxe editions of Battleborn. If you’re not haven’t got the season pass or deluxe edition, each Story Op can be purchased individually for 700 Platinum in the in-game Marketplace.
The new multiplayer mode ‘face-off’ is completely free for all players and will put set teams against each other as well as the the Varelsi in a multi-phase mode. Teams must Varelsi and pick up the masks they drop then deposit the masks for points. The first team to 500 wins. However, killing Varelsi makes them mad and they will get tougher plus the mode includes boss battles.
