Given its questionable launch, it’s heartening to see that DICE and EA supported Battlefield 4 for as long as they did. But now, with Mirror’s Edge on the horizon and a Battlefield 5 announcement looming, it seems the time has come for the modern military shooter to ride into the sunset.

The CTE provided a beta testing ground for new maps and content before they would be released to the public at large. No new beta content means no new final content.
