It's been a year of no release date news and consistent non-playable demos at events, but before closing of 2016, inExile has given us hope. </b>Torment: Tides of Numenera</b> is coming in February.
There's only so far you can theoretically cast you mind forward, but those working on the science-fantasy world of Torment: Tides of Numenera are making a world based on their idea of how Earth would look one billion years from now.
Between the modern day and the far-off future, many civilizations have risen and fallen to many different turns of events. With the Ninth World born, there's plenty of remnants of the past hidden beneath its surface. You'll make plenty of choices as you leave you mark on the world and set out to answer the age old question of life. Not that one, but 'What does one life matter?'.

With a release date set for February 28, 2017 we're only 2 months away. And with a solid release in mind, you can bet that means pre-orders are open. Love them or hate them, they're here to stay; and that means so are the 'Day One' and 'Collector's Editions'. Those picking up the 'Day One' edition will grab a physical soundtrack, world map and steelbook case (with some digital goodies too), whereas the collector's edition will pack a creepy statue and keyring in for good measure.
You can head on over to the official website to pick up either version of the game in anticipation of the February release, or just to check out the extensive screenshot gallery.
