The PC version of Watch_Dogs 2 might still be a week or two away, but console fans are already getting stuck in hacking every terminal, phone and PC they see. But what happens when they hack into Ubisoft's own in-game HQ? Hype and rumors.
Discovered over the weekend, Ubisoft has planted themselves into their own game. A rather large building adorned with the company's logos and a massive Assassins Creed poster gives the game away, with an access point on the roof inviting players to work their usual hacker magic.
But what do they get for busting into Ubisoft's virtual systems? Well they're all about the games, so it makes sense for a trailer to pop out. And when you're hacking, it's usually for something others don't want you to see - figuratively, at least.
The trailer in question, while vague, depicts space in all its glory. Space stations, satellites and a shuttle blasting through the stars. There's no name as the video cuts out before it gets good, but the masses believe it's a teaser to Ubisoft's next big reveal. Everyone's taking a stab at space - and taking a long time to do it - so here's Ubisoft sliding in to soak up the spotlight.
Judging from the video watermark, we'll see more - or nothing - at E3 next year.
