We have a decent amount of footage already from the impending release of Space Hulk: Deathwing, but where's the harm in a little more? Especially when it's of the leaked variety.
Cunningly titled "Alien 2016" by MyNameIsAleidan on YouTube, the footage gives us a 20-minute demonstration of the title within a co-op environment. Though the user in question seems to lose his ally fairly often, it's clear the tight corridors and dark landscapes are there to give of a flavor of hopelessness and vulnerability to the otherwise destructive Space Hulk.
Should someone at Streum On Studio or Focus Home Entertainment come along as file a copyright strike on "Alien 2016", we'll know for sure that the footage is legit - not that there's any doubt right now, however. But it's a smart play by our leaker here.
Following a few shoot-outs, we're even given a brief look at the main menu seemingly allowing you to switch load-outs on the fly to deal with the changing enemy threat. It's dark, it's moody and rather bloody at the same time. There's hints of a slower-paced DOOM here - only with your friends becoming iron-clad killing machines like yourself.
Space Hulk: Deathwing releases December 9. There's a 15% pre-order discount still running on Steam for those keen on early adopter savings.
