As with any open-world video game, the vast majority of players are more interested in plowing cars through pedestrians than staying on the road when heading to their next mission. And Watch Dogs 2 is likely no different. But when the resulting surprise ends up getting your account banned, it's a slightly different story.
After a user "accidentally blew up a few women" he found one of them positioned in a way that certainly voided the poor girl of all modesty. With genitalia fully rendered - and clearly visible - Twitter user Swizzasaur decided to whip out the screenshot function and share his findings with the world. There's a strong NSFW warning there.
While it isn't completely unknown to have full-frontal nudity in a video game, Watch Dogs 2 was never certified by the ratings board to have such an inclusion. Maybe it was a modelling oversight or even a developer having a little too much fun, but either way, if it isn't rated, it shouldn't be there.
For sharing such a shot, the user in question was quickly banned from his PlayStation Network account for a month. Following a quick round of media buzz, Ubisoft has pledged to tweak the NPC in question through a patch coming later in the week.
They're also "working with our first-party partners to ensure that players can continue to play and share all content from the game within the bounds of the first parties’ respective codes of conduct.” So hopefully that's the end of the unlawful banhammer for now.
