They may be expensive, but for those who've done a little networking with fellow VR-totting friends, they're likely always after another multiplayer experience. Serious Sam is now a new contended to enter the ring.
The hastily titled 'Build 284170' for Serious Sam: The Last Hope released late yesterday evening bringing co-op alien blasting to those still enjoying Sam's debut VR rampage.
For those already familiar with the general concept of Serious Sam, you can likely imagine just how co-op support would work in a VR title like this. So with a co-op partner on board, you're going to have to fight over that playstyle somewhat and there's likely to be twice the bloodshed.
You know what else is a good VR title? Carnival Games. Probably. Maybe.
Aside from the sudden addition, there's a few other noteworthy changes being phased into the game with the newest update. Of course, there's the usual selection of performance optimizations and bug fixes, but there's been a few balance tweaks, too. The shotgun has received a Christmas discount with laser ammo taking a slight hit also. Certain health - like that of the Khnum - has been adjusted, and there's two new choices when it comes to the game's difficulty. - Tourist and, of course, serious.
And just in case the update isn't quite playing how the developers want it to, they've been kind enough to type up a quick guide detailing how to roll back to the previous version. That's not hinting at anything, right?
