If you're somehow still not done with The Binding of Isaac; there's a lot more content coming your way. From the fans, no less.
Comparable in size to the original developer-issued 'Afterbirth' DLC, the creatively titled 'AntiBirth' mod brings two new characters, 90+ items to pick up and 16 bosses to squash-or-be-squashed-by.
Though they can't be run at the same time, saves for both AntiBirth and AfterBirth won't overlap - so there's no need to worry about overwriting a good run as you switch between the two modes.
On a completely different note, there's a new trailer for Styx: Shards of Darkness
Including everything from a brand-new soundtrack to a secret chapter and even an improved co-op mode, The Binding of Isaac's Antibirth mod confirms players are very willing to make for themselves what a game developer doesn't share their enthusiasm for. Whether the original game's 'helper'-style co-op play was a lore-bound design choice or not, the fans wanted more - so they made more.
You'll have to wait one more day before the Steam Workshop allows access to the lengthy expansion, as it doesn't officially release until December 20. After that, however; the creators have pledged to support the work even after release.
