We're still four months away from the release of Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3. And if the wait is already too much to bear, there's another mission walkthrough up on its official YouTube channel to guide you through the 'Slaughterhouse' scenario.
The mountains of Georgia are known for their frigid winter conditions. And when you're sent out without backup into the snowy peaks on a mission to work out how the enemy forces are able to operate in such a high capacity, you need all the help you can get from your equipment.
Of course, as a sniper, you're known for your deadly silence. Picking off your enemies from a distance, you have to go in well equipped for the job. In the video below we're given free reign to grab what we please; but we're grabbing anything from silenced weapons to buzzing hacker drones and likely very loud granades and C4 explosives.
If everything had gone according to plan, we would have been one month away from release. Fan feedback may have saved us from a trainwreck.
You're still on your own, though. So without the usual help of a spotter, you'll have to take in the readings of the cold, Georgian blizzard speeds and keep a watchful eye on any passerby that might be too close for comfort through the shoddy visibility of the harsh weather.
But if you're hoping to go in blind - so to speak. It's probably for the best that you skip the lengthy 16-minute demonstration on offer here. It's a long wait for sure, but you don't want to diminish the element of improvisation and strategy by watching someone else do all the hard work, do you?
