Developer Amplitude hosted an Endless Day in which several major announcements for games in the Endless series were made, including the debut of Endless Space 2. Another less heralded release was announced which will be arriving this April: an expansion for Endless Legend called “Shifters”.
The new expansion will add a new faction called The Allayi. This new faction “shifts” during long winters, allowing them to survive hostile weather. ”All factions will also be able to collect a new resource called the ‘Pearls of Auriga’, enabling them to unlock new powers through the ‘Altar of Auriga’ and modify the upcoming winters’ impact,” explained the developer.
Amplitude released some concept art for the expansion, as seen above. More info will probably come as the April release nears.
