Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted is an action-adventure RPG that was developed by Cornfox & Bros and released for the PC back on 17th March, 2015. It’s heavily inspired by Zelda and Final Fantasy, with console versions planned for release in September.
That actually led us to believe that Cornfox and Bros. were busy working on the console versions, although surprisingly today it’s announced that a sequel is in development called Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm.
Little is known at the moment, apart from a very brief tease from a title theme video that appears to feature music from Nobuo Uematsu and Kenji Ito, who also did the soundtrack for the original game.
Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm will more than likely be released for consoles and PC sometime in 2017, but as soon as we learn more we’ll let you know.
