Running with Scissors announced today that it’s working on a remake for its twin-stick shooter POSTAL.
POSTAL Redux will come with new content when it releases for the PC in Spring 2016. A PlayStation 4 port is also planned for release after the PC, bringing the franchise to consoles for the first time.
Rampage Mode is the major addition to the Redux version, which is a new single-player mode based around a scoring system, where players are encouraged to take aggressive styles of play by earning multipliers for each consecutive kill in a streak.
“Even with all the noise surrounding POSTAL, gamers focused on the experience, playing the game by the millions, giving it great user reviews and helping us not only survive, but flourish. POSTAL Redux is a love letter to our fans,” said Vince Desi, founder of Running With Scissors.
POSTAL Redux will be released in Spring 2016 for the PC.
