There are few games with the popularity and enduring legacy of Myst. Cyan Worlds is returning to the first-person exploration adventure with a new game called Obduction and after a successful Kickstarter campaign back in 2013 and a number of delays along the way, the game is finally available.
Much like Myst, Obduction sees you transported to a strange, alien landscape with little explanation. You’ll have to explore the environment and solve its mysteries to figure out where you are, what’s going on, and why you’re involved.
Early word on the game has been very positive, and we’re looking forward to checking it out for ourselves. This is Cyan’s first major title in nearly a decade, and it sounds like they’ve revisited the concepts that put them on the map with skill and craft.
