Rise of the Tomb Raider is almost upon those of us who have been patient for the PC release of the game. The sequel to the 2013 reboot of the illustrious series is by all accounts a pretty good step forward for Lara and her escapades. More good news for PC players who pre-ordered though. You can go ahead and pre-load Rise of the Tomb Raider now on on Steam.
Three days ahead of its release, players can go ahead and get the game loaded up if they so choose. It reportedly comes in at about 25 Gb, a pretty hefty file, so being able to get this ready ahead of time is certainly a treat. It is unknown at this time whether or not players can go ahead and load up the previously announced DLC if they purchased the season pass as well.
Rise of the Tomb Raider has seen quite the buzz since its arrival on Xbox One. The game made it into the Writer’s Guild Awards with a nomination for Outstanding Achievement in Video Game Writing. Whether you think that’s deserved or not, the game has still managed to pull positive ratings across most channels.
