Though originally gunning for a September release, Amplitude Studios have finally solidified an October 6th release for the Alpha version of Endless Space 2.
As a sequel to their first 4X game released 4 years ago, Endless Space 2 will be coming to Steam Early Access following a 2 year development window. Through a complicated selection of play-tester sessions, the team are ready to hit the broader market while still looking to add and refine features based on player feedback in the future.
With the title hitting the Steam marketplace next week, now might be the best time to take a look at their development diary hosting on the Games2gether website. There, you can meet a few key members of the team and take a look at some of the fan-made quest and faction additions.
