Unravel is an okay platformer with enough heart and charming visual design to make it stand out. If you happened to be a member of EA’s Origin Access subscription service, you could play the first two levels for yourself. Now, a similar trial is free for everyone.
Anyone can download the Unravel trial via Origin and play the first level for up to ten hours. That is, for the record, about 9 hours and 40 minutes more than you need to complete said level. It’s worth checking out if you’re into cute stuff and achingly sincere, heartfelt nostalgia.
This is, of course, actually just a demo and it would be real nice if we could just call these things demos again. Unravel is currently available at a sale price of $14.99.
