You've traveled across Europe in Euro Truck Simulator 2 and traversed the states in American Truck Simulator, but there's still a lot of Europe to explore, and the France expansion is coming to help.
In the base Euro Truck Simulator 2 experience, you've trucked across the UK, Germany, Italy and the surrounding West. The 'Going East' expansion opened up Poland, Hungary and Slovakia with the Scandinavia add-on bringing Sweden, Norway and Denmark into the mix. Now, apparently needed greater emphasis, the latest expansion brings France more in-line to its real-world counterpart.
Releasing in just a week's time, the 'Viva La France' expansion set brings 20,000 kilometers of road network for your trucking pleasure. Any seasoned travel expert or budding tourist will recognise famous landmarks and locations across 15 cities and multiple village spots. Check out the forest ecosystems, work for a nuclear plant and even follow the time-honored tradition of French tollgate systems - everyone's favorite passtime - when it releases on December 5.

Bigging up the incoming expansion, SCS Software said: "Discover famous landmarks, deliver to expansive industrial areas, navigate complex intersections and interchanges, enjoy visually unique roundabouts inspired by real locations,"
So if you're up for navigating France's "baffling autoroutes", go right ahead. Expand your trucking business with fresh French custom or just go for a spot of sightseeing. Either way, 20,000 kilometers of road opens up in just a week.
