Hey, folks! You can tune into GameWatcher’s Twitch channel Monday through Friday at 8PM GMT/4PM Eastern for an hour long stream of the latest and maybe greatest in PC gaming. We’ll be hitting big new releases, indie curiosities, and Early Access works-in-progress, so be sure to have a look for first impression gameplay footage of a wide variety of titles.
Today we’re playing an upcoming indie strategy game called Crush Your Enemies. It takes classic real-time strategy action and spins it into a more casual game friendly to short burst play sessions. The game features a single-player campaign and cross-platform multiplayer across PC and mobile devices. Its single mouse button controls certainly suggest a mobile bent, but hopefully there’s enough depth to its strategy to make it worthwhile.
And it looks real nice! It’s got an attractive cartoon aesthetic rendered in pixel art that reminds me a whole lot of Advance Wars. (That’s a good thing.) It promises weird bosses, naughty humor, violence, beer, and curse words. So hopefully Twitch doesn’t ban us.
If we make it through Twitch’s rigorous censorship, be sure to tune in at 8PM GMT/4PM Eastern to see what is best in life: to crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women. Fun stuff!
