You won't be seeing another multiplayer trailer today, but footage of the remastered Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare campaign and news of being playable in just a few days for fans willing to fork out the extra cash for the Legacy or Digital Deluxe editions is enough to reignite the flames set in motion back in 2007.
Still only included with the less exciting Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, the battles of the franchise never stop with poor Soap MacTavish being made to repeat his history in the first remastered Call of Duty title.
Though the entire game has been reworked for the 'a new generation' Activision's press release feels the need to reconfirm missions like Mile High Club and All Ghillied Up are back. Not that we expected them to go anywhere. We just have to wonder whether 'No Russian' would kick up a fuss again should Modern Warfare 2 ever see the same treatment.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered hits PCs worldwide November 4. But you'll have to pick up Infinite Warfare to play it.
Good thing we still have unofficial server support in the original!
