The Franz Kafka Videogame is a puzzle adventure that’s inspired by the writings of Franz Kafka, who is know for books such as The Metamorphosis, The Trial and The Castle. Denis Galanin is the sole developer while Daedalic Entertainment are helping with the publishing.
The Franz Kafka Videogame is about a curly haired chap called K, who suddenly gets a job offer that forces him to make a distant voyage to a world beyond his homeland, only to find that there’s something strange going on and you must discover what that is.
We have to admit that Franz Kafka went under our radar since this is the first time we’ve heard about it, but the art style looks mighty impressive, and if you’re after a puzzle adventure game it could be to your liking. Denis Galanin says that there’s “no inventory, no Boss battles or RPG features, just absurdity and surrealism”.
It’s releasing at some point today on Steam, although there’s no mention of a price or anything at the moment, so we can’t tell you how much it’ll cost. Looks like it’s also coming to iOS as well, if you’re into that kind of thing? For anything else, there’s always our Upcoming PC Games 2017 page.
