Potentially worried about the rest of E3 stealing the spotlight, Focus Home Interactive have released Dontnod's 'Vampyr' trailer ahead of the crowds next week.
We're not entirely sure why they've decided to jump the gun with this one considering how Dontnod placed themselves on the map quite firmly with Life is Strange. All eyes are already on them.
Either way, Vampyr is something we've been hearing about for some time now, but have little to talk about when it comes to gameplay. Sure enough, the E3 trailer doesn't really rectify the situation - but it does remind us that it's certainly a game that exists and is still very much alive; if you'll excuse the pun.

It's another action-packed trailer that showcases how the dark and gothic victorian setting differs so heavily from the team's past outings. It certainly isn't a modern time-travelling adventure like Life is Strange, nor a neo-tokyo styled action romp like Remember Me. It's something wholly different that hopes to blend a little bit of the strengths of their past titles with that of an entirely different setting.
Hopefully this (pre) E3 trailer is just a snippet of what the team has to show at this year's exhibition. A tease, if you will. It's been a while. We all want more.
