Data miners don't like surprises. Whether they're indifferent to them or not, their craft or source of entertainment digs through game files to find hidden secrets or relics that are never to be seen in-game.
The latest target of their efforts comes from the massively popular PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds. Rooting through the game's files have unearthed 54 new items that have yet to make their official appearance.
While it's never certain that each of these items will ever make it into the main game, there's a good chance a handful of them will make the jump - if not all. Located by Reddit user DevinWatson, the items don't all appear to be simple cosmetic good, either, with users assuming some may lead to additional gameplay modes and/or mechanics in the future.
There Should Be Less SCAR-L And More Fulll-Auto Pistols Across PlayUnknown's Battlegrounds Soon
While we're only able to show 3 of them on this single post (you can view the rest here), we're to expect Spacesuits, syringes, fantasy/medieval plate armor, leather jackets and matching gloves and a very tattered looking skirt. Oh, and a poison apple.
There's no mention as to when we can expect any of these to make it into the game, but with the release date pushed back from October to some other point in the year, there's plenty of time to have a massive update.
