Brendan Greene, better known as PlayerUnknown, has appeared onstage at The PC Gaming Show 2017 to talk about the latest changes to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. Don’t you just hate it when your character is unable to jump over small ledges? Well, you don’t have to worry anymore. The latest changes to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds allow players to vault and climb over objects, removing any of the frustration most people have been through when playing this game.
This change may seem insignificant to many people who have never played Battlegrounds before, but believe me, this is absolutely huge. The ability to climb over objects will change the movement in this game dramatically, giving players the opportunity to break into buildings without heading directly to the front door.
You can also check out the video to see some of the new weather effects in the game. The developers have added a nice fog effect to frustrate players in the dying moments of a match. Each of the new weather effects give the game is new look. This should be a nice change for fans as Battlegrounds players have been used to the exact same look for months now.
Finally, the last addition to the game is the Bullpup gun. You won’t be able to find this powerful rifle without finding a supply crate, but PlayerUnknown himself has said this weapon will be extremely powerful.
Below you can find the video showing off the climbing, vaulting and new weather effects coming to the game this year.
