While players of a certain newly unveiled console will have to wait for its own separate release date a few days later, PC players will put their hardhats on before end of February. Constructor arrives February 28.
The Constructor series is headed for a new generation, and while you'll need particular tablet or laptop and some extensive dedication to "take your place on the porcelain throne, and continue building your empire in uninterrupted comfort", it's certainly a possibility now. So long as you're not worried about pink-eye.
A re-dux of sorts stemming from the original 1997 release, it's coming 20 years after the release of the groundbreaking builder. Though only specifically announced to be included with the Nintendo Switch version, multiplayer is a possibility allowing up to 4 players to compete across various Constructor challenges.
Constructor HD was last scheduled for Summer 2016 before falling into January. It's not making that.
Being part of a new construction start-up, you're already setting your sights on the bigger picture. Rise up from the menial task of the small-time property developer into one capable of building a city in their image. Keep a watchful eye on resources and put your workforce to the grindstone to raise a metropolis that keeps the money flowing; just be sure to deal with any late payments in a way fitting of one hoping to rule.
We'll likely hear more of Constructor in the next few weeks leading up to release, but there's a few new screenshots to share for those on Steam who've made note of its numerous delays.
