Remember that sneaky E3 2016 tease from Bethesda last year? If another quick mention on the Kinda Funny Gamecast is anything to go by, we might be hearing more soon.
Sitting in on a recent episode, Pete Hines - one of Bethesda's head honchos - said he's played what the Wolfenstein team are working on and it's "f***king bananas".
He doesn't go on to specific exactly what it is they're working on, but let's just continue hoping that the sneaky E3 tease wasn't just a Red Herring. People responded well to the reboot and the idea of a sequel, so we would expect it to be set in stone at this point. Acknowledging that is isn't good for consumer response and PR to without information for a lengthy period between a reveal, Bethesda have a leg to stand on when they didn't - specifically - announce anything back then.
New Collosus Was Also Hinted By The Voice Actor Of The Game's Main Character
But for those who want to call him out on in, cast your mind back to E3 2016 when Bethesda's main show closed on rather ambiguous look at a command line/DOS-type interface showing boot drives and files. The last of which showed 'New_Colossus' coming slotted in neatly after New_Order and Old_Blood - the reboot and expansion of the Wolfenstein series a few years back.
Again, we can't say for certain that he's relating specifically to this new Wolfenstein game - or whether one even still exists - but we'll certainly be hearing more at E3. Though we can hope for something sooner.
