Missing Its Original 2017 Mark, Insurgency: Sandstorm Slips Into 2018 With Some More Information
Taking place in the mordern era much like its predecessor - rather than the World War II setting its expansion introduced - the game's new story mode can be taken on by a lone player or a group of upto 4. Starting out alone, our narrator character will soon meet up with like-minded characters as their goals cause their paths to cross.
Though the trailer doesn't specifically mention a release date anymore, the last delay - back in February - pushed it into 2018. Of course, multiplayer will remain as the main attraction with new game modes, vehicles and cosmetic items to lap up.
