Quake Champions, the latest installment of the iconic Quake series, is out now on Steam and one of the coolest things about it is that it's something of an id Software Super Smash Bros, bringing together Champions from multiple id franchises including Doom's Doom Slayer marine, Wolfenstein's BJ Blazkowicz, and Quake 1's (and 3's) Ranger. However according to creative director Tim Willits it seems very likely we might see Champions from other Bethesda IPs coming to Quake Champions in the future.

In an interview with GameReactor, Willits was asked about the possibility of bringing Bethesda characters to Quake Champions, which considering id Software is owned by Bethesda shouldn't be too big a leap. After talking about BJ and Doom Slayer, Willits admits, "it doesn't take that much imagination to see that we've been looking at other Bethesda titles."
He makes it clear that they have nothing to talk about right now, but it certainly seems like talks are going on. He goes on to specifically mention the Vault Dweller from Fallout 3 (the interviewer prompted him with Vault Boy instead), Corvo Attano or Emily Kaldwin from Dishonored 1 and 2, and the Dragonborn from Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. They also talk about possible Champion abilities for these characters.
"If we did add something like Vault Dweller - I'll do Vault Dweller instead of Vault Boy - I don't know, maybe like a nuke or something? You know what'd be cool is Dragonborn, with his dragon shout. Or Corvo, with his blink. Or Emily. I mean, we have so many choices, we'll just have to see what comes up."
Out of all of them, Willits admits that "Dragonborn would be probably my favourite."
While none of this is confirmation, it seems very likely to happen. Multiplayer games have to stay in the news to stay in the public consciousness, and bringing in Skyrim, Fallout or Dishonored characters into Quake Champions would certainly achieve that. Of course the big question would be how to do that. The Vault Dweller may use all kinds of guns but Dragonborn, Corvo or Emily use blades or crossbows at worst. It'd certainly be an odd fit. Prey's Morgan Yu would probably be a better fit than the Dragonborn. And we really hope Tim Willits isn't forgetting about Commander Keen...
