There's only a few weeks to go until the latest Atelier game lands on Steam for - almost - the first time. Just being beaten by a port of Atelier Sophie last week, it's time for those new fans to take a glimpse of the spruced up battle system.
With another Aterlier game just on the horizon, it's difficult to properly understand where we're up to with these right now. Somehow almost following a similar pattern to Call of Duty, Atelier Firis: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Journey happens to be the second in the 'Mysterious' legs of the franchise.
Despite its colourful landscapes, there's danger around every turn for Firis and her friends. Having to stand up for themselves in glorious combat, it isn't just light teamwork between standard and special attacks - but the joint effort at building the 'Linkage Gauge' within a brawl. Once topped out, Firis and her team can unite to deal numerous powerful blows with a 'Chain Burst' attack resulting in a grand final blow.

So if you're looking to see these new additions in action, there's a completely planned video down below. Not limiting itself, either, the footage gives us a good look at some of the locations and characters we'll see along the way. Aterlier Firis: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Journey releases March 7 on Steam. There's no link just yet.
