The Transtar group likely didn't manage to conduct much research by the time things went to hell in the new Prey title, but they did enough to demonstrate the combative prowess of the Typhon; and it's time you basked in their knowledge.
To better prepare yourself from the spangly horrors aboard the Talos 1, a 2-minute look into the Typhon should be enough to have you fearing every movement.
The Mimic
Short on bullets? Well, knowing the Mimic's ability to morph into just about anything it wants, there's a high likelihood that the very same chair you're currently sat on as you contemplate your new life aboard the infested Typhon 1 is, in fact, one of those spider-like creatures ready to tear you a new one - so to speak.
It doesn't matter how many times you've checked a room over, you can never put it passed a Mimic to show its true colours too soon. Always holding onto the element of surprise, there's no safe heaven until you just start blasting everything in sight to be sure.
The Phantom
Far taller than its lesser brethren, the Phantom shares many similarities with the Mimic. It's a blend of Typhon DNA and and remains of a fallen victim. Whether a deceased friend or that guy from accounting that really had it out for you, the Phantom doesn't discriminate in its choice. It wants you dead regardless, and it gains a few new powers to carry out its goal.
Closed ranged combat will see the Phantom use its morphic limbs as a brutal weapon while it's swift movements allow it to quickly out-range and out-pace your attacks before hurling bolts of energy back at you.
The Telepath
A little more ambiguous, the Telepath is exactly as its name suggests - a body capable of cruel telekinetic and telepathic games capable of subjugating lesser beings.
There's little example to give with this one, but the research lab does suggest protective measures are put in place when coming into contact with the airborne apparition.
