With Take-Two and Rockstar reporting on just how much Grand Theft Auto Online's 'Gunrunning' update has improved the resiliant playerbase, it should come as no surprise to see another update. A new vehicle arrives alongside the Overtime Shootout Adversary mode gametype.
Though the new release currency bonuses have worn off now, there's still plenty of reasons to try out the new turn-based Adversary mode; especially if the more frantic Overtime Rumble playlist wasn't your cup of tea.
Though similar to the Overtime Rumble gamemode of the past, Overtime Shootout gives everyone equal time to shine, rather than have each player fight to the death. Each turn, a player charges their car down a steep slope before being sent airborne by the flick at the end. With the aim of deploying, retracting, and a redeploying a paracute from their vehicle, the aim is to land on one of the floating platforms to rack up as many points as possible. Miss, and you'll fall into the ocean. That's a cool 0.

Whether you just have too much cash, or have been saving it for something special, the HVY Nightshark could be your next money sink. Bounty on your head and the whole server is out to get you? Get the HVY Nightshark delivered to your garage. Though you'll be perfectly safe in your house, you'll be relatively covered in this armoured vehicle, too. Take it out for a spin, bait your assailants into a choke point and rain hell upon them with its twin front-facing machine guns. Just be careful around Helicopters - unless you know a damn good ramp nearby.
There's no saying how long the Gunrunning series of updates will go on, but there's definitely something just as big coming further down the line. With 80+ million copies sold, Take-Two and Rockstar will be supporting Grand Theft Auto Online for a very long time.
