During Apple's steady push into mobile gaming, a handful of developers managed to make some real gems for sleek devices. Titles like Infinity Blade paved the way for Lili and a certain adventure game the looked like a certain Nintendo classic. That one specifically is getting a sequel.
Can't quite remember it? Despite being a fine example of how powerful mobile devices were becoming just a few years ago, Oceanhorn eventually made its way to Steam in an attempt to make a bigger splash.
Whether it managed that isn't the question now, however, and 15 minutes of Oceanhorn 2 is apparently mobile-only once more. For those who decided to pick up the Steam release or the original, it's likely bad news for now. Whether Apple is playing a part in timed-exclusivity once again remains to be disclosed, but with a new iPad reportedly just around the corner, there's a good chance we'll hear more soon.

Regardless of the fact, we can hold onto hope that Oceanhorn 2 will glide over the Steam once more sometime down the line. The game is still in active development with no solid release window, so we're no closer to actually getting our hands on this one - PC or not. With the 15 minute gameplay intro being captured from an iPhone 7 Plus, the difference between Oceanhorn and its sequel is night and day. While the first sported an isometric viewpoint with some expressionless characters, Oceanhorn 2 looks near indistiguisable from a console game with its third-person action and gorgeous water. Animations are still rather heavy, though.
So what are your thoughts? It's clear where the inspiration comes from once again, but we'll leave it up to your own imagination. Take a look at the footage down below and let your opinions be heard.
