Destiny 2 has plenty of things for any player to do, but it mostly relates to grinding out more gear. One of quickest routes through this is the 'Trials of the Nine', a PvP mode found within the Crucible setlist that delivers grand rewards to those who consistently beat out the opposition.
During a winning streak, players are thrown into a world called 'The Spire' - a place with no map location and nothing but a massive tower in the centre of wide hole. Go in with enough wins, and you'll climb high enough to land into an aetherial plane to collect your rewards. One player, however, came across a shortcut.
With access to the Spire itself being granted at 3 consecutive wins, 5 victories sends you further up, with 7 higher still. In this instance, the player in question seems to perfectly time their jumps to land within one of the Spire's lower segments, only to find a way into the winner's room without much outside effort.
Destiny 2's Limited Edition Map Was Hiding A Secret In Plain Sight All Along
The inside is a freaky place indeed. Pulling some Harry Potter levels of absurdity, the pure white space is populated by a celestial steed and, upon turning a little more, the gargantuan face of The Emissary herself. The idea is that enough wins would open up a clean path to the top of the Spire, which then drops the player down into this room. Reddit user Okitsdrew, however, just performed a leap of faith to reach the same point.
While it's a viable way to see the room for yourself without having to pull a Flawless winstreak, it isn't a way to exploit the Emissary's gift-giving tendencies. You need to have won tokens to trade for those. Still, it's an interesting revelation for those who love a bit of a jump challenge.
