Upon taking a look at Tricky Towers, there's likely a good portion of us who'd question the reach of a game like that. Party games rarely seem like the kind that was fair well on the PC platform, but it sounds like it's doing just fine.
Today marks the release of Tricky Towers' new 'Indie Friends DLC' that sees the frantic multiplayer puzzle mashup injected with the love of some very big indie hits.
Characters from games like Octodad, Nuclear Throne, Awesomenauts, Armello and Lethal League will make their Tricky Towers debut, with Towerfall polishing off the set. And that's still not the end of it. With the game still set to release on Xbox One later in the year, it'll come bearing a single-player mode that will, eventually, appear on the PC version, too.

Tomorrow also sees Marooners get a rather large expansion alongside plans to release on console later on. Doubling the overall content count of the base game, the expansion finally adds AI-controlled bots for single and multiplayer use for when you just don't have enough friends - or any at all.
With the summer holidays quickly creeping in, these are two titles well-suited to a laid-back Summer night party. Beer is a bonus.
