Destiny 2 is a game all about loot - more or less. Just like Diablo or Borderlands, you're constantly picking up new weapons and armour adds a bunch of cool effects so that you're not just shooting regular bullets. One such, called Sunshot, causes those killed by its shell to explode, dealing damage to anything around it.
Anyone who's played a similar game before will know exactly what to do with a weapon like this. Wait for a few monsters to group up, kill one and watch the rest die in the resulting explosion. One player, however, managed something with a little more spectacle.
Achieved through nothing more than pure coincidence, Reddit user Azarken123 shot an enemy as it left its cave on the planet Nessus. As the creature exploded (thanks to the Sunshot effect), they noticed the bangs just kept going and going.

The reason, upon getting a clearer view, was that the case was set to spawn more enemies in an attempt to surprise and overwhelm those strolling through the cave. With the explosion triggering from the first kill timing perfectly with the spawning of another, the boom would kill another monster, creating another explosion that would kill the next in line. If the cave didn't have a cap on the amount of monsters it would dish out, this could have gone on forever.
With anti-cheat mechanics built into the game, it can be noted the player stopped getting cash on each kill toward the end of the chain. Obviously to halt the emergence of 'loot cave' and exploit farming seen in the original Destiny, it's still a shame the cash counter didn't keep climb just a little longer.
