Immersive yet flawed survival game Osiris: New Dawn got a new update, titled "The Rise of Zer". Zer is not a being, but an orbital body -- the molten lava planet that comes to join the original desert world of Protheus and an ice planet also added post-launch. Aside from a completely new enviroment, Zen also houses several types of new creatures that are obviously looking to murder you (no pacifism allowed in Osiris).
Aside from the third planet, the "Rise of Zer" update also brings several new features and improvements, including new weapons, furniture, minerals, and a new attachment system that allows players to improve their spacesuits. The list of features is pretty long, and you should definitely head to the Steam announcement if you want to know all it contains.
Last but not least, Osiris: New Dawn is available on Steam for 50% off until January 4th, to celebrate the launch of the update and join the festivities of the Winter Sale. This is the lowest it's ever been, so if you've been waiting for a time to jump in, this may be your chance.
