Thought the original didn't fare well as a port on the PC, Koei Tecmo are, again, pledging their allegiance to the PC platform going forward by releasing the anticipated sequel 'Toukiden 2' through Steam.
Of course, not abandoning their past, they seem to have gained a few followers by announcing plans to offer up a physical PS Vita release when most companies go the digital only route. There's no direct mention of that stretching to a physical PC release, but the missing PC/DVD-ROM logo could be an early indicator.
Yelling 'Slayer, ARE YOU READY?! likely isn't what convinced the publisher to bring this one West, but it's a good way to drum up interest is a title that gives off the vibe of another hopeful Monster Hunter contended on a platform that doesn't have an official entry in the series other than a non-localised online version and a Chinese remake using CryEngine that isn't even available in its founding country.
Toukiden 2 launches March 24 across Europe and features more named playable hereos much like the release of Toukiden: Kiwami in 2015. There's no Steam page just yet, but we should expect pre-orders to go up fairly soon.
We can't even take a stab at the system requirements considering those of its prequel simply state 1980*1080 pixel over, True Colour where we'd usually see GPU requirements. Here's your trailer.
