It figures a redneck would be a professional-grade platform jumper after hopping several fences to annex his neighbour's hot-tub, so here's CremaGames showing off their Spring 2017 release - Immortal Redneck.
The Spanish development studio has decided to centre their new game around a Southern man getting a little side-tracked during a vacation off under the Egyptian sun. The victim of a bizarre accident - whatever that may be - finds himself mummified in one of the country's historical monuments.
The pyramids of Giza will now be known for their treacherous monsters and firearms technology that would surprise even the most hardened historian. With the three pyramids holding the answer as to why you were prepped for eternal sleep and a trip to the promised land, you'll be heading in there to blast apart some beasts in this arcade-style shooter.

Taking inspiration from certain rogue-likes to become a self-proclaimed 'Rogue-lite', Immortal Redneck incorporates twitch controls - like rapid acceleration for some quick platform hopping - to proceedurally generation dungeon floors. Perma-death exists with good cause, and your Redneck friend can flesh out his skill tree across 9 different classes, all with their own unique traits.
For those interested in steaming the game through Twitch, there's even an ominous 'Twitch Quest' to complete. The rest will just look forward to dishing out the hurt against each pyramid's 2 big baddies while picking up some goods from the local merchant. There's no exactly price just yet, but Immortal Redneck is aiming for a Spring release. Here's the trailer.
