We're about 2 weeks away from the release of the second major expansion to the comical turn-based strategy title Renowned Explorers. It's been a long time coming, but the day is close at hand. For that, we deserve a new trailer.
Back when initial details were released earlier this month, we were introduced to a new character - Hojo Fumiaki - as the expansion was revealed through a short comic strip.
This time we're given a trailer to handle a bunch of details about the fresh new features and worlds available to explore once Renowned Explorers: The Emperor's Challenge releases in two weeks time. There's a beta currently live for those who simply can't wait, too. Delving into specifics, we'll outline some of the features shown off in the trailer to the bottom of this post before you even make it down there to witness them first-hand.
Renowned Explorers: The Emperor's Challenge Expansion Introduced Hojo Fumiaki
Dubbed the 'archaeological dream' Indonesia is the new area of focus this time around. Expanding the Renowned Explorers play area, you and your crew have been spotted by Matthieu Rivaleux. It's time for a new game mode in which you - and your new character roster - make haste to the Temple of Trance under direct orders of Emperor Guangxu. It's the focus of the new Emperor's Challenge game mode that made the title cut.
Of course, the best way to learn is by doing. But, given some readers won't have access to the game already, seeing the action is the best method on hand. Watch the trailer down below and head over to its newly discovered Steam page to get the finer details on beta access.
