We're about a month away from seeing how well long-standing JRPG makers GUST take on a more realistic setting that they typically have before. With both the Atelier and Nights of Azure series being heavy on the fantasy and the occult, Blue Reflection, for the most part, is grounded in reality.
Much like they've done in the past, KOEI TECMO continue to share what they can of the game in short spotlight videos. We've already been introduced to our main heroine Hinako, so now it's time to learn a little more about the magical sisters that will pull her into that role - Yuzu and Lime.
At 48 seconds long, we don't have a whole lot of time to get to know the mysterious siblings. There's no direct introductions, but we do get to see them interact with Hinako, each other and, presumably, the enemy with a few lines of dialogue.
Koei Tecmo's JRPG Blue Reflection allows you to fight harder through the power of friendship
What the trailer does manage to bring to attention, however, it that the character of Blue Reflection, while visually appealing and somewhat accurate to their stunning artwork, seem to be far more static than those seen in past GUST games. They've never been terrifically lifelike, but there's a real lack of body language going on here.
Continuing their efforts to be much more PC friendly than in the past, Blue Reflection will become GUST's 4 title to be released on the platform this year alone. And thankfully, it's looking far better than the PSVita version.
